Sophie Wagner

My name is Sophie Wagner and I am a student author from Toronto, Ontario. Since 2020, I have had over fifty short stories, drabbles and poems published by places such as The Black Hare Press, Iron Faerie Publishing, For Women Who Roar and many more. Poets Choice was the beginning of my poetry journey and I am so grateful for their attention to detail and commitment to helping their authors flourish. The poems I published with Poets Choice can be found in Global Warming: Compiled Collection of Poems. If you are interested in learning more about my process with these specific poems, please check out the interview we did together on YouTube. Writing is and continues to be, a cornerstone of my life. Look out for new poetry and short story publications by me in the future. I sincerely hope you enjoy my work!

I say, It’s in the reach of my arms, The span of my hips,    The stride of my step,    The curl of my lips.    I’m a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman,    That’s me.
