Josie Emmons Turner is a Northwest American poet, residing in the village of Gig Harbor, Washington. She served as Tacoma Poet Laureate 2011-2013. Her work has been published in many anthologies. She has participated in public art collaborative installations with artists Kathy Gore Fuss and Jennifer Crushcoff and her work has been set to music by composers Gregory Youtz and Dennis Northway.selected
