Melissa Juchniewicz is a New England writer and a member of New Hampshire Writers’ Project, Hyla Brook Poetry Workshop, and other writing communities. She won a top prize for her story “Working” in Free Spirit’s anthology Blue Collar. A two-time winner of the MacGregor Prize for Poetry, she’s been published in literary journals including Orca, Light, BrightFlash and The Offering. MockingOwl is currently serializing a short story collection of her signature “Will and May” stories.
Dr. Juchniewicz teaches writing, as well as children’s and young adult literature, at University of Massachusetts Lowell, and facilitates memoir writing workshops throughout New England.
