An Australian Canadian, Tanita travels between the two countries when finances and pandemics allow. While earning her BA in Creative Writing and Literature, she also helped create the art television series ‘Put Some Colour In Your Life’ as Production Manager. It was during her time at Griffith, however, that she was coached by film producer and author, Tony Cavanaugh, who encouraged her to focus on writing.

Tanita has had pieces published via sites such as HerStry, Feminine Collective, The Rye Whiskey Review, and Poet’s Choice. When not working, writing, or reading, she spends a disproportionate amount of time overthinking things while sipping on something caffeinated and eating sushi.
