Tanjanika ‘Tan’ Shivers is from Charleston, SC. Tan started writing poetry at the tender age of seven. Tan is the author of the poetry collection, “Dark Days Lit Nights – Distant Memories… Up Close and Personal”. Some of Tan’s work has also been featured in Harbinger Asylum, Indie Blue Publishing, Poets’ Choice, the Rising Phoenix Review, Emerald Coast Writers, inc. and Moonstone Arts Center.. In addition to writing poetry, Tan enjoys boxing and playing rugby (Charleston Hurricanes Rugby Club).
