Dakota Tallman

Dakota A. Tallman holds a bachelor’s degree in social work with pride. Dakota is a published poet and author who uses poetry and written word as a way to express her emotions and gather her thoughts. She gets her love of writing from her paternal grandfather and maternal great grandmother. Poets Choice will always be special to Dakota because her first published poem was published by Poets Choice. Dakota has written poetry, stories, and songs since she was a young girl and Poets Choice gave her the boost of confidence that she needed to continue to publish her works. Since 2021, Dakota has published 10 poems and 2 children’s books. Dakota is a coauthor of the children’s book series Ruthless the Elf, which is available wherever books are sold online. She is thankful for the opportunity to reach others through her work and hopes to continue to grow as an author and poet.
