Ximena Escobar de Nogales writes stories, essays and poetry. She is a volunteer language teacher in prison, where she also runs a book club. Colombian, Swiss and Spanish, mother of three adult children, Ximena co-authored a guidebook on Impact Investment (Willey 2015) and published a children’s book, Little Red Riding Hood Goes to the Sea (Ediciones El Boga 2024). She is co-founder and director of the Casa Taller El Boga, a centre for arts and crafts in Mompox, Colombia.
