Stewart Bellus grew up in Brooklyn NY during the 1950’s and ‘60’s. Like many boys of that era, he spent much of his time playing, watching and talking about sports, but during college his horizons expanded. He studied history, worked as a student teacher, travelled more extensively, and took up a new pastime: writing fiction.
Stewart’s most recent major publication is a short story collection titled “Moments of Truth.” He previously published “The Villa,” a historical novel set in WW II Italy. Both works have consistently received 5-star ratings on Amazon. His previous e-novel, “Tip of the Tongue,” was a contemporary tale of respectable people acting in disreputable ways. He also has had short stories published in literary magazines such as Confrontation, Mediphors, Washington Lawyer (a fiction contest winner), Wood Cat Review, Dumbo Press, Free Spirit and two anthologies. His latest work of short fiction was longlisted in the “History Through Fiction” short story contest.
