Through trekking, one gains far more than what the materialistic world can ever offer. Living with nature, or even spending a brief moment, gifts a person with inner peace, serendipity, a positive faithful mindset abreast with firm groundedness; trust in oneself, in others and in the environment created within the present moment, and the awareness of it. Above all, the experience of freedom from all entanglements of life: this experience poses an alluring tendency for anyone who goes trekking for the first time, to keep repeating and exploring varied trekking locations.

1 review for Going For A Trek
Margaret Morris –
I am an author in Going for A Trek but the reason I wanted to rate it so highly was the quality of each story and how Free Spirit has chosen the format to publish it in. I just received four copies, opened one to glance at it and couldn’t put it down. Reading the stories was captivating. It has been published as a notebook in a pocketbook size of four carefully chosen stories to pique your interest. Following each story are some lined pages for notes. Notes to keep as you think of an idea for a similar “trek” on your own, wherever you happen to live. Surprises are in store though, because a “trek” written about in the book might surprise you, Treks aren’t always what they seem. It is meant to be carried in your pocket over time full of notes, ideas and treks you’ve taken to look back on for years to come. It’s 80 pages long and full of information that can be taken advantage of. I am an author but am planning on vigorously marketing this book because it is well worth it.
