Vasco Pimentel

Vasco Pimentel is a writer and poet based in Fremantle, Western Australia. He is a scriptwriter and storyteller for THRIVE, a script-assessing panellist for Short & Sweet and the Creative Writer Lead for Blazing Swan. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Vasco left his home at the age of eighteen and migrated to Australia. He holds a Creative Writing degree from Curtin University and a Certificate IV in Professional Writing & Editing. His short fiction has been published by Spineless Wonders, Meniscus Literary Journal, and the Student Gallery Magazine in the UK. It has also been featured in Free Spirit. Pimentel’s poetry has also been featured in Wingless Dreamer and Paddler Press. Reading has always been his passion; writing is now his burden.
